Burglars in Petaluma Steal Several Items and Pet Bunny

Petaluma Police are looking for two suspects believed to be involved in a rash of thefts from the Cerro Sonoma and South Gate neighborhoods. Over 10 vehicle burglaries happened during the early morning hours of August 26th with some cars unlocked, and some had windows broken. In one incident, the thieves used a garage door opener to enter a resident’s garage and searched through cabinets. Personal items were stolen from the vehicles to include currency, wallets, ID’s, Beats headphones, GPS devices, a compound bow and 2 BB guns. On top of that, a resident reported that their pet bunny, Snowy, was removed from it’s enclosure and the two thieves took it with them. Anyone with information on the thefts and location of the Bunny should contact Petaluma Police.
