Petaluma police are looking for a suspect who stabbed a man on Lynch Creek Trail just west Highway 101. On Friday morning, a man and his friend were walking on the trail when they were approached by a male suspect. A dispute followed with the unknown subject arming himself with a weapon and stabbing the victim. The victim and his friend were able to flee the area and seek medical aid. Thankfully, his injuries were not life threatening. Officers extensively searched the area of the Lynch Creek Trail and were unfortunately unable to locate the suspect.
