A different take on home cooking is legally coming to Sonoma County. On Tuesday, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the local implementation of the state’s Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operations program. That means residents can now operate licensed kitchens directly from their homes. The program automatically applies to all nine of Sonoma County’s cities and all unincorporated parts of the county. The state awarded the county a 138-thousand-dollar grant for the implementation and enforcement of the program.
