Good Food Hour – Cosmic Crisp Apple, Thanksgiving with Thomas Schmidt, and Diestel Turkeys

Steve Garner and Chef John Ash taste test a Cosmic Crisp Apple with the man who led the development of this delicious apple, Bruce Barritt. Steve kept this apple in his refrigerator for a whole year, and Steve and John try it to see whether it holds up! (Spoiler alert: it totally does!)

We talk to Chef Thomas Schmidt of John Ash & Co. about the recipes he’ll be making for Thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant, as well as chat about cooking wild game. Steve and John giveaway a copy of John’s book, “Cooking Wild” to two lucky KSRO listeners.
