Santa Rosa Mayor Chris Rogers talks with KSRO News Director Michelle Marques about the ways we can support survivors of sexual assault. Joining the conversation is Christine Castillo, Executive Director of Verity and Hanna Allen, Intervention Manager at Verity. Verity is Sonoma County’s rape crisis, trauma, and healing center. Christine and Hanna share the ways to listen to survivors with compassion, and how to talk to friends who may be saying or doing things that are inappropriate and potentially harmful.
