The two suspects in the fatal nightclub shooting Santa Rosa are being charged with first degree murder. Sonoma County prosecutors announced the charges yesterday for Fogatia Fuiava and Ednie Afamasaga. They also were charged with attempted murder of a second victim (who was uninjured) and conspiracy to commit murder. Both suspects are being held without bail. In the criminal complaint, prosecutors allege that the two suspects and the victim, Kenneth McDaniel, attended a rap concert at the Whisky Tip nightclub and, at some point, exchanged words. Fuiava and Afamasaga then watched McDaniel inside the bar, saw him leave, and waited for him outside, hiding behind parked vehicles in the parking lot. The second victim was in the line of fire and is listed as John Doe for safety reasons.
