A local economist says the North Bay is leading the way as California emerges from the coronavirus pandemic. Sonoma State University economist Robert Eyler said at a North Bay Business Conference that California has recovered nearly 96-percent of pre-pandemic jobs. But he says the six-county North Bay area has recovered a higher percentage of jobs and has done so quicker than the state as a whole.
