The FDA is giving the green-light for California to distribute Paxlovid for Coronavirus infections. The agency announced the decision yesterday which will allow pharmacists to prescribe the medication to patients over the counter. The FDA says Paxlovid needs to be taken within five days of having Covid symptoms and the new approval will help expedite the process.
