Kaiser Permanente is being accused of charging patients for COVID-19 tests. NBC Bay Area reports the lawsuit claims the healthcare provider was billing patients over three-hundred-dollars for a two-in-one COVID and flu test. Officials with Kaiser say their policy is not to charge for COVID tests, even if they include the additional flu test option. Over 40-percent of residents in the state are insured by Kaiser.
