Closing arguments for the Montgomery High School stabbing case begin today. It comes after 9 days of testimony. The defendant, 16-year-old Daniel Pulido, did not testify. Both of his parents did testify, and his mother, Alejandra, was the last to testify, sharing photos of Daniel’s face after he got into a fight with the victim and another student a month before the stabbing took place. Pulido is being charged with voluntary manslaughter for the death of 16-year-old Jayden Pienta in March earlier this year. Judge Ken Gnoss is expected to deliver the court ruling next Monday.
