The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors is not fully in agreement on a ballot measure that would amend the county’s lodging tax rules. On Tuesday, supervisors cast a split three-two vote in favor of sending the measure to voters this coming March. But, county attorneys say that’s one vote short of the measure standing on solid legal ground. The measure would amend lodging tax rules to include more types of vacation rental and travel booking sites. If the rule is changed, the county could make an additional one-and-a-half-million-dollars in tax revenue each year.
