Two former business partners in Sonoma are now suing each other. On Thursday, real estate investor Ken Mattson first filed a suit against Tim LeFever and the company they founded together, LeFever Mattson. Mattson alleges unfair competition, improper removal of a director and illegal access to corporate documents. In response, LeFever then filed a counter-lawsuit against Mattson. He claims Mattson breached contracts the two longtime business partners had together, committed fraud by hiding business transactions and opportunities and received stolen property. In nearly the past decade, LeFever and Mattson together bought at least 116 properties in Sonoma Valley valued at an estimated 250-million-dollars in total. An investor has also filed a federal lawsuit against Mattson and several of the associated LeFever-Mattson companies.
