New Solar Panels at Sonoma County Airport (County of Sonoma and Forefront Power)
Avelo Airlines is adding two more destinations for the Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport. Beginning on October 10th, Avelo will begin flights from STS to Ontario, California and then Salt Lake City, Utah on October 24th. Both of those flights will run Thursdays and Sundays and will be on Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. With the additions, the Sonoma County Airport now offers direct flights to 15 destinations across the western United States.
“As our beloved airport continues to grow, I’m delighted to see more destinations offered by Avelo Airlines,” said District 4 Supervisor James Gore, who represents the airport area. “These will be great additions for the residents of Sonoma County.”
“It’s fantastic to see Avelo continue to expand their commitment to STS with the addition of major markets such as Salt Lake City and Ontario,” said Airport Manager Jon Stout. “These highly requested destinations enhance both the convenience and connectivity of STS, and we look forward to their success.”
