An Idaho man has been extradited to Marin County for a decades old murder case. 75-year-old Michael Eugene Mullen is in the Marin County Jail and will soon make his first court appearance for the 1973 homicide of 31-year-old Nina Fischer of San Rafael. Fischer was found bound and shot to death at her family’s home on Point San Pedro Road. Mullen was arrested in August after DNA evidence linked him to the crime. Mullen was a former resident of Sonoma County.
