A 30-year-old Petaluma woman has been arrested for felony hit and run and DUI. Last night, a crash was reported near the intersection of C Street and Petaluma Boulevard South. One of the drivers fled the scene and another suffered minor injuries. Petaluma Police were able to identify the drivers as Taylor Arnold and located her at a friend’s residence. When speaking to officers, Arnold displayed objective signs of alcohol intoxication and possibly a controlled substance. Police determined she was the driver involved and arrested her.

Also, an intoxicated driver from Sonoma was arrested in Petaluma yesterday while possessing drugs for sale. Just before 6 pm, calls were received by police regarding a possible DUI driver in the area of East Washington Street and Sonoma Mountain Parkway. Police responded and contacted the driver, 20-year-old Cesar Godinez, in a parking lot. After Godinez showed signs of intoxication, he was arrested and his vehicle searched with police finding a large amount of suspected Xanax, marijuana, cash, a ski mask, and a replica firearm. The vehicle was later impounded from the scene.
