Construction is underway on a housing development that will bring nearly 800 new homes to northwest Santa Rosa.
The Press Democrat reports crews got to work this week on the project located at the former dairy farm off Guerneville Road and Lance Drive. The development will include 672 apartment units and 98 single-family homes.
Officials say the first apartments could be available for rent by mid-2027.
