The Santa Rosa French-American Charter School is moving to the former Santa Rosa Middle School campus for the 2026-27 school year.
The Press Democrat the move is part of the district’s strategy to address its budget deficit. With more than double the space, the charter school will be able to admit hundreds of students from its waiting list. The increased enrollment is expected to boost revenue for the district.
The new campus will also give students and staff more room for programs and activities, and allow the school to expand without being limited by seismic regulations at its current site.
