Seven months after last winter’s severe atmospheric river storms caused widespread destruction, Sonoma County is celebrating the near completion of a major road repair project.
Westside Road in Forestville is set to reopen on Thursday, August 28, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon. The reopening marks the first of six critical repair projects approved by the Board of Supervisors back in April.
Other priority projects include repairs on Wohler Road, West Soda Rock Lane, and Cavedale Road, all of which are expected to be complete by late fall.
