Owner Of Wildfire Mitigation Company In Marin County Believes Goats Were Poisoned

The owner of a wildfire-mitigation company believes toxic plants in Marin County killed several of her animals.

The owner of Scape Goat Grazing says 12 of her goats along with one sheep have died recently, with toxicology reports coming back saying the animals were poisoned. The owner has pinpointed the issue to a recent time where her herd was munching on snakeroot plants while working on a wildfire-mitigation project in Stinson Beach.

Such poisonings are rare, but veterinarians say abnormal temperatures recently could be affecting toxin levels in plants.
