The Sonoma Valley Unified School District is launching its search for a new superintendent.
The job will be posted on Monday, September 22nd, with the goal of finding a strong local candidate. A Press Democrat report says officials say the district is willing to extend the timeline to ensure they find the right person for the job. Rena Seifts is currently serving as acting superintendent.
The district is gathering input from the community to help shape the search and find a leader who can meet the district’s needs.
