The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors and the Fair Board are holding a special joint meeting on October 17th to discuss a major proposal from the United Soccer League.
The USL wants to build a multi-purpose stadium at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds to host professional men’s and women’s soccer, along with concerts and community events.
With horse racing now over at the site, county leaders are looking to transform the Fairgrounds into a new long-term hub for sports and entertainment while keeping the annual Fair.
