A North Bay developer is asking a court to review Santa Rosa’s decision to reclaim a downtown property at 410 B Street.
The city says Cornerstone Properties breached a 2021 sale agreement by failing to advance development on the B Street lot and two nearby sites. Cornerstone disputes the claim, saying it met requirements and invested over three-million-dollars and more than seven-thousand-hours on planning.
The company notes progress on proposals for a former rail yard on Sixth Street and a parking lot on Ross Street, though some projects have stalled.
Building plans for the B Street site were revealed only this spring after multiple city-granted extensions.
