The Sonoma County Probation Department is celebrating two staff members recognized by the California Association of Probation Institution Administrators for outstanding work in juvenile justice.
Roman Jordan, Juvenile Correctional Counselor II, was named Bay Region Line Staff of the Year. Jordan is recognized for 25+ years of dedicated, compassionate service and mentorship, remaining on the front lines through every major departmental change.
Scott Isaac, Juvenile Correctional Counselor III, received the Jerry Darling Award. In just a short time, Isaac revitalized the facility garden, introducing an innovative aquaponics program to teach youth science and sustainability.
Juvenile Hall Director Kilee Willson praised both men for embodying the department’s compassion, professionalism, and innovation.
