The Santa Rosa Police Department has secured a new grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety to boost road safety.
The funding runs through September 2026 and will support increased enforcement efforts, including DUI checkpoints, patrols targeting distracted drivers, and operations focused on behaviors like speeding and red-light running.
The department says the goal is to combine education and enforcement to reduce serious injuries and deaths, making Santa Rosa roads safer for all.
