A tragic end to a week-long search in Sonoma County, after a missing Rohnert Park man was found dead in Bodega Bay.
Authorities discovered the body of 29-year-old Kale Gonick-Hallows on Friday, inside his submerged Tesla near Schoolhouse Beach. Gonick-Hallows had been missing since January 5th, when he left his home during a period of heavy storms.
Investigators believe his vehicle crashed into the water shortly after his disappearance. While the exact cause of the accident remains under investigation, police say there are currently no signs of foul play. The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to process the scene.
