Thinking about running for office?
Your window starts this Monday, February 9th. Sonoma County Registrar Evelyn Mendez says nominations are opening for dozens of positions in the upcoming June primary, including Congressional seats, state offices like Governor, and local roles like County Supervisor.
If you’re ready to throw your hat in the ring, you’ll need to file your paperwork in person by March 6th.
Just a heads-up: the Registrar’s office has moved to a new location on Brickway Boulevard in Santa Rosa, and they’ll be closed for the February holidays, so don’t wait until the last minute to get your signatures together.
