Windsor Chamber Names New Director Amid Budget Woes

The Windsor Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center has appointed Esther Molina as its new executive director, making her the third person to lead the nonprofit organization within the last year.

According to the Press Democrat, Molina, a Windsor native with over 25 years of nonprofit experience, steps into the role as her predecessor departs for a new business opportunity.

Her arrival comes at a critical time, as the town grapples with a steep $19 million budget shortfall driven by declining sales and lodging taxes. Local officials hope the chamber’s new leadership will help rally the business community and support upcoming economic strategies, including a potential sales tax measure on the November ballot.

For her part, Molina expressed excitement about returning to her hometown and bringing fresh, positive stability to the organization.
