Teen Testifies in Fatal Santa Rosa Fentanyl Overdose Hearing

A preliminary court hearing began Wednesday for Ramon Nunez Galvan, the man accused of murder for allegedly supplying fentanyl-laced cocaine that killed two Santa Rosa teenagers last year.

The Press Democrat reports a fifteen-year-old survivor testified about the harrowing night in February 2025, recalling that she lost feeling in her legs shortly after consuming the narcotics before waking up in a hospital.

The suspect is charged in the deaths of eighteen-year-old Logan Camp and sixteen-year-old Gia Walsh, who were found dead hours after two other teens were hospitalized. Police investigators testified that evidence at both scenes quickly pointed to Nunez Galvan as the suspected dealer.

A judge is expected to continue hearing evidence today before deciding if the case will proceed to a jury trial.
