Everything You Need to Know as a Voter from the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters

To help you this Election Day, you can read the General Voting Information to find answers to basic voting questions from the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters. To check if you are eligible to vote, check the Voter Registration Lookup page. You can also search quickly discover where your Polling Place is located for today’s midterm election.

Clerk, recorder and assessor for the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters, Bill Rousseau, shares how many registered voters we have in Sonoma County as of the count yesterday, what he expects voter turnout to be, whether he has any concern when it comes to fraud in this year’s local election, and how many mail-in-ballots have already been turned in:

Uber and Lyft are also ready to help get people to the polls today. The ride sharing services are offering discounted rides. Uber will give riders a ten-dollar discount if they’re going to a polling place, while Lyft is offering 50-percent off rides to voters. Additionally, Lyft is giving away free rides to people in some under served communities.
