Convicted Felon Found with Handgun During Santa Rosa Traffic Stop

A convicted felon has been arrested during a Santa Rosa traffic stop for having a handgun. Police pulled over a car with two men inside Wednesday night near the intersection of Windmill Circle and Marlow Road. One of the men inside was Josh Lepe who initially provided a fake ID. Officers searched the car and found a backpack with a loaded and unregistered 9mm handgun. After finding out Lepe was a convicted felon and on probation, he was arrested for various firearm related charges, providing false ID to police, and violation of probation.
