About 125 protesters flocked to the Petaluma Regional Library to demonstrate for or against its “Drag Story Hour” event. It was the second consecutive Saturday the event drew protesters. People waved signs, flags, and started chants. The number of counter-protesters at least doubled the number of people protesting the drag event. About 130 kids and their parents attended the event inside the library’s reading room. It was one of four Drag Story Hour events that happened at Sonoma County libraries during the weekend. The others were at the Rincon Valley, Windsor and Central Santa Rosa libraries.
