Mark Adams Drops Out of District 5 Supervisor Race

Mark Adams is dropping out of the running for a seat on the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors. Adams, the CEO of a Santa Rosa-based security firm, announced he was running for the District Five seat just three months ago. Adams says the demands of the campaign were taking time away from his work and from taking care of his son, who is autistic. The 56-year-old Sebastopol resident says he’ll consider running again once he retires, which he plans to do within the next two years. Supervisor Lynda Hopkins is running unopposed now that Adams is leaving the race.
