Local National Night Out Events in Sonoma County

Tonight is National Night Out where law enforcement agencies across the country connect with local communities. Sonoma County will participate over two nights.

Tuesday, August 1st:

Cloverdale Police are hosting their National Night Out event at the downtown plaza from 6 to 9.  Multiple emergency preparedness booths will be open as well as free carnival games for the kids, free food, free popcorn, and hotdogs, as well as a raffle.

Windsor Police will host their event tonight at the Windsor Town Green from 5 to 7 Pm. It will have free food and activities.

Cotati’s National Night Out will be at la Plaza park at 6 PM and will have food and a free showing of DC League of Super-pets.

Wednesday August 2nd:

Santa Rosa Police will host their event at the parking lot of Dick’s Sporting Goods. The event will be from 4 to 7 PM with booths from local organizations and public safety agencies, food and drinks, and fun activities for kids.

Petaluma’s National Night Out will be at the Petaluma Fairgrounds from 4 to 7 PM. They’ll host a multitude of safety and not-for-profit organization booths, city departments, and local CHP, Petaluma Police Department, Sheriff’s Office, Petaluma Fire Department, and Red Cross to name a few. Each booth will offer a variety of safety activities, swag and resources. Enjoy tours of emergency vehicles and observe safety scenarios. Free snacks, music and prizes available to guests.

Rohnert Park’s event will be at the central station at 500 City Center Drive from 4 to 7 PM. You can speak with various first responders and tour emergency vehicles. There will also be free food, children’s games, face painting, safety resources, and swag.
