Host Jeff Davis talks with Rene Byck, Vice President and Co-Owner of Paradise Ridge Winery in Santa Rosa. Rene shares the details of his family's winery, including the destructive fire that burned it down along with some of the homes on the property during the October 2017 fires. The tasting room was rebuilt and completed in December 2019, and has since fully reopened to the public with the popular Wine and Sunsets every Wednesday evening.
Rene also shared details of the various sculptures and temples on the property, as well as self guided vineyard tours, and wildlife rehabilitation that happens on the property. And the property also continues to share the legacy of the Japanese Wine Baron, Kanaye Nagasawa, who planted many of the grapes in Fountaingrove and also built the iconic Round Barn.
