Today’s Senior Living with Cogir – Employment Opportunities
Host Michelle Marques talks with Steve Sarine, Executive Director of Cogir of Rohnert Park, about employment opportunities within assisted living and senior living communities. There are many positions open for those who are entering the work force, and once at a facility, the opportunities for advancement are ripe.
Within a senior living facility there are many different career paths: activities, dining services, transportation, business office, concierge, care giving, dementia management, facility maintenance, marketing, sales, and much more. Steve suggests for those who are younger and trying to decide which career path to take, volunteering at a senior living facility is a great way to get to know the staff, make connections, and find out if this is the industry for you!
