For the past 18 years Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin has been making the holiday season brighter for hundreds of Club families. Through an annual gift drive, we collect gift cards to spread holiday cheer across Sonoma County. We’re asking community members/companies to come together and adopt-a-family in need this holiday season. Will you join us in spreading holiday cheer this year for a family-in-need?

If you’d like to participate, below is information on our gift drive and one of our letters of a family in need is attached (this is a family of 4). We have 275 families, 1,105 individuals in need this holiday season. This will be our largest drive to date!

We’re collecting donations NOW through December 6 and will be handing out the gifts to families the week of the December 16^th  in order for them to have enough time to shop for their holiday celebrations.

Ways to participate:

1. Adopt a family-in-need

• • Provide gift cards to a grocery store, household store gift cards (Target, Walmart, etc.), a family outing meal experience, visa gift card
  • We ask for $150-$200 per family member
    • Example of gift cards:
      • $150 Safeway Gift Card
      • $100 Target Gift Card
      • $200 Visa Gift Card
      • $150 Ross Gift Card

1. • We will provide a letter for a family-in-need of some holiday cheer to help with the shopping list.

2. Don’t want to adopt a family but still contribute:

1. • Sneakers from size toddler to adult
   • Sweatshirt/coats from sizes toddler to adult
   • Board games- nice to have something the family can come together with

   • Gift cards of all kinds from Old Navy to Starbucks to Grocery Stores
   • Legos
   • Visa gift cards to help pay bills
   • Dolls
   • Toy Trucks/Cars
