A new campaign is encouraging California service members to seek help for alcoholism and substance abuse. Air Force Sergeant Joshua Williamson says he started working with Real Warriors after turning his life around.

California has the most service members in the nation, with about 130-thousand active service members, over 56-thousand members in the reserves and about 60-thousand military civilians. The stress and psychological effects of military life can often drive these service members to abuse alcohol. The National Institute on Drug Abuse says nearly half of all service members report binge drinking. For more information, head to Real-Warriors.net.
