INTERVIEW: The Wine Country Tour de Fox is This Weekend, Raising Money to Fight Parkinson’s Disease

Jackson Family Wines CEO Rich Tigner describes what drew him to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for research and treatment of Parkinson’s Disease, what he and his wife decided to do after meeting Michael J. Fox personally, the fundraisers he’s been a part of in the past, the change in focus since the wildfires, where ten percent of the proceeds will help locally, how the event promotes Sonoma County with the arrival of bicycle riders from all over the world, and some of the celebrities of all facets of life that will be attending:

 

 

The Wine Country Tour de Fox is Saturday, August 25th in Santa Rosa. Cyclists have the option to choose from a 70.2-mile, 52.4-mile, 34.5-mile or 10.7-mile ride.

Proceeds from Wine Country will benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation to speed better treatments and a cure for Parkinson’s and the local GOALS Foundation to support special needs children and adults sports and fitness.
