Natalie Rogers (City of Santa Rosa)
Natalie Rogers is the first black woman to serve as mayor in Santa Rosa’s history. Rogers’ colleagues on the city council chose her as mayor on Tuesday night. Rogers, who has had a council seat since 2020, replaces now-former mayor Chris Rogers. The mayor position in Santa Rosa is on a two-year rotating basis. The mayor sets the council’s agenda and acts as the city’s spokesperson.
Diana MacDonald, who came in second in the voting for mayor, was named Vice-Mayor.
