Petaluma Fire Department training will affect several roadways today on the west side of town. Multiple fire department ladders trucks will be conducting training exercises to practice responding to a fire in multi-story buildings. As a result, Westbound traffic on Cherry Street will be diverted onto Kentucky Street and eastbound traffic will be closed to through traffic at Keokuk Street from 1 to 2 PM. Residents on Liberty Street and Kingfish Court will have access. Walnut Street will be closed to through traffic between Kent and Oak Street from 2 to 3 PM. Residents on Walnut Street will have access. And Oak Street will be closed to through traffic between Liberty and Keller Street and one lane of Keller just south of Oak Street from 3 to 4 PM.
