Employees of the now closed Lucas Wharf restaurant in Bodega Bay will get paid. Co-owner Karen Parker has told the Press Democrat that they will be getting all their paychecks, including tips from credit cards. She also confirmed that the restaurant is closed down for good. The closure came abruptly last week when a staff email went out announcing the news. Some employees were unaware of the announcement and had to be turned away when arriving to work on Friday. The owners cited several reasons for the closure including the pandemic and the increased cost of goods.
