Moms are speaking out ahead of Mother’s day. On Saturday, Moms Demand Action will hold protests nationwide calling for an assault weapons ban. A rally will be held in Petaluma at 1 PM at the corner of Western Avenue and Petaluma Boulevard. Next closest rallies will be in Napa and San Francisco. Moms Demand Action says there have been over 200 mass shootings this year and its on pace for the deadliest year in the country for such attacks.
