The 17-year-old accused of shooting a San Francisco 49ers rookie is due in court today. He’s facing a slew of charges including attempted murder. The DA says it’ll take at least two weeks to decide if he’ll be tried as an adult. Investigators believe the boy followed Ricky Pearsall last Saturday in Union Square and tried to rob him of his watch but ended up shooting him in the chest. The 23-year-old is doing well and visited with players this week. He’s on the non-football injury list but the team’s GM is confident he’ll return this season.
