Sebastopol is making it official, tapping a familiar face to lead City Hall as Mary Gourley steps into the permanent City Manager role.
After 30 years with the city and several months serving in the interim, Gourley received a unanimous vote of confidence from the City Council this week. Mayor Jill McLewis praised her deep institutional knowledge, citing her as the “clear choice” to guide the town forward.
Gourley takes the helm with a focused agenda, aiming to stabilize the city’s budget while working to strengthen the bond between local government and the community.
