Santa Rosa Mayor Chris Rogers talks with KSRO News Director Michelle Marques about a virtual City Council study session on homeless services scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 9th at 3pm. An update on actions and plans to address homelessness in our community will be provided at this session, including a review of existing programs and specific COVID-19 response programs. Mayor Rogers also talks about new concepts, such as safe parking and alternative shelter programs like the Safe Social Distancing Program previously offered in the parking lot at Finley Community Center. Community members who attend this virtual meeting may provide input during public comment. Click here for more information and details on how to attend virtually.
