Sam's father Phil Coturri is known as the hippie grandfather of organic grape growing and his legacy is now a multi-generational practice, producing unique and delicious wines. Phil was also tuned in to the San Francisco music scene and was very close to The Grateful Dead, and artist Stanley Mouse, who provided the artwork for Winery Sixteen 600 labels.

Sonoma County Focus – Works of Heart Benefit for the Jewish Community Free Clinic

Host Michelle Marques talks with Donna Waldman and Jennifer Hirshfield about Works of Heart, a benefit for the Jewish Community Free Clinic. The JCFC offers free health care services at their clinic in Santa Rosa, and has been doing so for decades. Those who are uninsured can come for appointments for family medicine, women's health, well-child exams, physical exams, Covid tests and treatment, vaccines, and therapy. The Works of Heart benefit is a win-win, in that proceeds are shared between artists and the clinic, supporting both the arts and the activities of JCFC's safety net services. Live entertainment at Works of Heart was supplied by Kash Killion.

Host Clark Wolf shares the details on an event at Little Saint in Healdsburg called "Food Fight For Reproductive Rights" on March 5th, 2023. Chef Liza Hinman of The Spinster Sisters, Chef Crista Luedtke of Boon Eat and Drink, Kathleen Amtower of The Matheson, Laura Sanfilippo of Lo and Behold, and TJ Smith of Little Saint prepare food and drinks from local family farms for this special fundraiser. Proceeds benefit Access Reproductive Justice and Indigenous Women Rising.
