In today’s episode, Letitia Hanke, CEO of ARS Roofing and Founder and Executive Director of The LIME Foundation opens the show with details about Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. You can visit the Sonoma County Library for a whole host of events to celebrate and learn more about AAPI heritage and culture, like taking a class on origami, or learning Tai Chi. Click here for more information.
Letitia also shares tips to think about if you are considering installing solar on your roof:
1 – Inspect your roof first! If your roof needs to be replaced in the next 5 years, it is better to take care of the roof first, before installing solar. Re-installing solar is just as expensive as installing it!
2 – A roof inspection can also reveal any leaks or holes, which you want to address BEFORE sending contracters up to install solar panels.
3 – Roof waranties are voided when you have solar installed.
