After a Case of Listeria, a California Company Recalls All of Their Salad Products

A Guadalupe, California, company is voluntarily recalling salads after one tested positive for listeria. Apio Incorporated is recalling all of its Eat Smart Single-Serve Salad Shake Ups despite the fact that there have been no reported cases of illness. Anyone who has the recalled products should throw them away immediately or return them to the place of purchase for a refund. Symptoms of listeria include high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. Guadalupe is in Santa Barbara County.
