Host Michelle Marques talks with Magali Telles, Community Engagement Division Director for the City of Santa Rosa, and Irma Cuevas, Wraparound Coordinator for the Violence Prevention Partnership at the City of Santa Rosa. Magali and Irma share their experiences working for local government as women of color, and where they find inspiration to make government more inclusive, diverse, and equitable. The work requires creativity, flexibility, and compassion. Allies are found in all areas, and both women value the teams they work with to make important changes to the system.
