Host Clark Wolf talks with Darek Trowbridge, Pastoral Winemaker at Old World Winery about his efforts to build healthy soil. Darek makes natural wines which do not have added yeast, just the naturally occurring yeasts that already exist on the grapes. Old World Winery won a Healthy Soils Grant 2 months ago. The grant funds the further application of their Fungi Rich Composted Mulch to several apple orchards in addition to a few more vineyards.
